We Believe Career Change Should Be Accessible

Ferma Dimin was founded on a simple observation: traditional education moves too slowly for the tech industry, and most bootcamps prioritize volume over outcomes.

Our Story

We started in 2014 with twelve students in a shared office space. Our founder, a former engineering manager at a local fintech, was frustrated watching talented people get rejected from tech roles simply because they lacked a computer science degree.

The first cohort was experimental—weekends only, project-based, taught by working engineers. Eight of those twelve students landed developer roles within four months. Word spread.

Today we've trained over 850 professionals. Our curriculum is reviewed quarterly by hiring managers from companies actually hiring our graduates. We don't teach what's trendy—we teach what gets people hired and keeps them employed.

What Drives Us

Practitioner-Led Teaching

Every instructor works in the industry. They bring real production problems, current tools, and honest career advice to the classroom.

Outcomes Over Optics

We measure success by employment rates and salary increases, not graduation rates. If you're not getting hired, we haven't done our job.

Curriculum That Adapts

Tech changes fast. Our program content is updated quarterly based on hiring trends and feedback from partner companies.

Adult Learning Design

Our students are career changers with jobs, families, and limited time. We respect that with flexible schedules and intensive, focused sessions.

Industry Experience You Can Trust

Our instructors aren't just teachers—they're active engineers, architects, and data scientists working at companies like Grab, Sea Group, and Shopee. They teach evenings and weekends because they remember what it's like to be on the outside looking in.

  • Average 8 years industry experience per instructor
  • All instructors interviewed and vetted by our curriculum team
  • Regular instructor training on pedagogy and adult learning
  • Ongoing feedback loop from student evaluations
